Dear visistor of this webpage !
The VATSIM 2003 convention already is history. However, to keep the dust settling on this site away for as long as possible, we the organizers would like to provide you with some stuff to read and to look at. The pictures and texts are meant to give you a feeling of the spirit that was there during the three days of the convention. For you, who would like to come back here from time to time for a brief stop and have a look at the pictures once more we will keep all the stuff online for as long as possible at least however until next year´s convention.
We would like to say a big thank you to all the VATSIM members who came to Frankfurt and an even bigger thank you to the speakers of all the classes and presentations. All presentations have been of outstanding quality and gave the audience a lot of helpful stuff and news to take back home. A very special "Dankeschön" goes to our sponsors who, with their donations, made the banquett evening a real firework.
But it was not only the classes and other official things which made the convention so special. It was the common sense, the fact of meeting people from other countries and making friends. Once again a clear proof for an organization such as VATSIM, that the internet does not make people lonely. In contradiction it forms a community out of a common hobby, a platform to communicate with others even in the real world. This was what we all could witness in Frankfurt.
Looking forward to the convention 2004 where friends can meet again and even more friendships can be launched. See you there.....
