Geneva (LSGG) FS2002 and FS 2004 by Daniel Gauthier
Presentation & Installation Guide

by Roli Schenkel for SwissFIR

This page is intended to guide you through the correct installation of all files required to make Geneva run on your machine as it was designed to do. If you follow these instructions step by step you should have a good result in the end and you will be able to enoy this main airport in Switzerland. It is really worth taking a few minutes to install all the files!

STEP 1: Must-have-files that are common to all sceneries of Suisse2004
Additional textures that are required & how to install them

In order to make SwissAirports work correctly the following texture-files need to be downloaded and installed:
VOD and ASD textures, Tree Texturs Version 3, Nova and Novagold together with the two Base Texture Packages and finally the Textures of Airport v2.6

All these texture files are required and need to be installed

VOD
VOD Textures Version 3 can be found here
They come along with a setup program, you will only need to enter the main directory of FS.

ASD
You will get the ASD texturs here. All these textures have to be copied/extracted into the main texture-directory of FS (FS9/TEXTURE).

Tree Textures V3
For a correct display of all the nice trees Gerrish's Tree Textures shall be downloaded here. This zip-file contains four zip-files of which you only need the files "scenery.zip" and "FS2002.zip". In the file "scenery.zip" you'll find "trees_0.bgl", in "FS2002.zip" further 65 texture-files. The readme-file recommends copying "trees_0.bgl" and the other 65 texture-files into the main texture-directory of FS and additionally the file "trees_0.bgl" into "FS9/Scenery" and the 65 texture-files into the texture-diretory of Suisse2004 (FS09/Scenery/Suisse2004/texture).

Nova
The Nova-textures are required as well.
There are three files: texture files1, texture files 2 and texture files 3. Extract the contents into the main texture-directory of FS (FS9/TEXTURE).
From this zip-file extract the file "NovaLib1.BGL" into the main texture-directory of FS (FS9/TEXTURE) and additionally into the main scenery-directory of FS (FS09/Scenery).

Nova Gold
Extract the NovaGold textures as well into the main texture-directory of FS (FS9/TEXTURE).

Airport V2.6 Textures
We are almost done: the texture-files of Airport V2.6 need to be copied into FS' main texture-directory (FS9/TEXTURE).

Base Textures
Finally the two(!!) Base texture files of Daniel Gauthier have to be installed according the instructions in the readme-file.

Ah, we almost forgot one thing: for Daniel's Suisse2004 we recommend Ernst Bosshard's Landclass and Lago's Mesh will work perfectly, too. However, the best thing is still to come: Switzerland Professional will hopefully be fully compatible to Daniel's sceneries!

Now take a deep breath, you are ready to install the sceneries listed below, according your choice. Please take a moment and read through the installation-information provided in the readme-files, provided in each scenery-pack.
